It’s in our DNA: Veraluna is an ethical fashion brand created by Oxfam Intermón. We don't operate like a typical business that puts profits first. At Veraluna, the benefits are for you in the artisan-made products designed with high-quality materials, as well as for the producers who meet fair trade standards. And they're also for the planet: because ethical fashion is also sustainable fashion.
Our clothing is made of 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is good for the environment and our health. It is grown in fertile fields without the use of pesticides or synthetic chemical fertilizers, and is spun and produced without toxic chemicals.
All our products are Fairtrade certified and GOTS (The Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.
Fair trade producer groups pay their artisans a decent wage that allows them to cover their basic needs, such as education, housing, food and health. The artisans work in an environment that guarantees safe working conditions, which is not the case in the conventional market.
