CERTIFIED ORGANIC The quality of the cashew nut is mainly determined according to its size and its color. The whiter-ivory the seed, the better its quality. Crunchy and refined, VIJAYA Fair Trade Whole Cashew Nuts are of excellent quality; it is a natural nut, without added salt, having undergone no flavoring or frying bath. It will delight your aperitifs and your culinary preparations. HOW TO CONSUME IT: Can be eaten as is, as a snack, as an aperitif, plain or salted, mixed or not with other oilseeds and/or dried fruits. At breakfast, in mueslis or cereals. In a curry, simmered vegetables, fish or meat stew, or in wok recipes (Chinese noodles, pork wok, chicken or prawns with cashew nuts...). Crushed, in green or mixed salads, sauces (chutneys, pesto, vinaigrette, bechamel...), cereal or homemade chocolate bars, on pies, ice cream, dairy products... In puree, it turns into sauce for burgers, vegetable cheese, or cream for pastries (replacing butter). As a garnish on a dessert. Tip: To make a cashew puree, soak the cashews overnight. Drain and mix. Remove the water and blend again until a puree texture is obtained. The puree thus obtained can replace butter. To make cashew milk, mix 1 volume of cashew nuts for 4 volumes of water in the mixer; turn the appliance on high speed until you obtain a milk, which can be sweetened with a little honey, agave syrup or Rapadura sugar.
