Grand Pacific Hotel Chicago, 1884 - 50x76cm (20x30 inch) Archival Print (Unframed)

Huge menu from the 29th Annual Game Dinner held at The Grand Pacific Hotel Chicago on November 22 1884. The Grand Pacific was one of two major hotels built, in 1873, after the Great Chicago Fire. It was the site where Standard Time System was adopted on October 11, 1883. Many notable celebrities stayed here, including Oscar Wilde on his first visit to Chicago as part of his 1882 lecture tour of America. Courtesy UNLV Special Collections. EACH PRINT IS ACCOMPANIED BY A COPY OF THE INTERIOR MENU WHERE AVAILABLE. WE MAKE OUR PRINTS WITH ARCHIVAL-QUALITY FINE ART PAPER, USING PROFESSIONAL PIGMENT INKS. PROPERLY FRAMED OR STORED, OUR PRINTS WILL LAST 70+ YEARS WITHOUT FADING OR DISCOLOURING. ALL OUR PRINTS UP TO A2 SIZE ARE MADE IN-HOUSE IN THE UK. FOR LARGER PRINTS, WE WORK WITH THE BEST COMMERCIAL GICLÉE PRINTERS IN THE UK. LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR PRINTING PROCESS, BORDERS AND CUSTOM ORDERS HERE [/pages/how-we-print-and-custom-orders].
