Queen of Bermuda, 1937 Menu Art by Alistair K. MacDonald - A1 (594x840mm) Archival Print (Unframed)

Alistair K. MacDonald was born in the Argentine in 1898 to British parents. At the age of two he returned with his parents to live on the Isle of Skye. He became a postcard artist, book illustrator and cartoonist. In the 1920s he was commissioned to do menu covers for Cunard and other shipping lines. This elegant cover is from the Furness Bermuda ship the Queen of Bermuda. MacDonald died in 1947.  Courtesy Private Collection.
