Story These Achilles Hoop Earrings came to life just like an archeological treasure while rummaging in one of our old warehouse rooms. The coin was delicately scratched with a sandpaper before molding it in wax. Achilles is the heroic Greek warrior from Homer's Iliad poem and it is meant to remind the wearer to be courageous and strong even in the hard times. Handmade hoops add the earrings a contemporary yet refined design. Wear it everyday or gift it to someone special. Materials 18-karat Yellow Gold Over Sterling Silver (1 Micron Thickness). A palladium plating layer is also applied in order to protect gold from the natural oxidation of silver. Measurements Drop: 1.5'' / 3 cm. Origin Handmade in our own studio in Naples, Italy.
