This yoga mat was specially designed for yogis who sweat during their yoga practice or who naturally have wet hands and feet.   The Velvet Rug is a beautiful yoga mat and towel hybrid. The velvety-soft surface of the yoga mat absorbs moisture and, unlike common sticky mats, which can quickly become slippery when there is little moisture, this mat gains more grip as soon as you start to sweat. A yoga towel is no longer necessary with our Velvet Rug yoga mat.   The yoga mat is particularly good for dynamic and sweaty yoga styles such as:b.   Bikram (Hot Yoga) and Vinyasa suitable. But Yin sessions are also particularly pleasant on the soft surface.The base made of natural rubber offers a secure footing, is cushioning, has a good grip and ensures that mat edges lie flat and do not roll up again during yoga practice.
