In 1998, Studio Arte Viola was founded in Rome, Italy, where Italian artist Viola Di Massimo works. Shortly thereafter, the studio became open to the public, aiming to bridge the gap between the viewer and the creation of a work. It also became a meeting place, hosting exhibitions, conferences, and guided tours led by the artist himself. It took the name of Casa Museo Kimeia, the museum of art and transformation. A small, moving museum complete with a bookshop offering guided tours and original works, as well as merchandise such as posters, postcards, bookmarks, magnets, books, notebooks, various reproductions, and handcrafted iron gall inks.
Bridging the gap between art and the viewer is, and has always been, one of the main goals of Casa Museo Kimeia. "
