SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate)

Foaming and softening! The SCI gives a foaming and soft side to your solid cosmetics and will bring shine and volume to the hair. Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is an anionic surfactant that allows you to obtain a foaming and creamy texture in your solid cleansing product recipes. This surfactant is a fatty acid derivative of 100% natural coconut oil. SCI, of vegetable origin, brings softness to the skin and hair and facilitates detangling. Offered in the form of granules, it is more practical to use than in powder form because of its volatility. To use it, put the SCI in a little water and heat it in a bain-marie. Mix until the mixture forms a paste. You can then integrate it into your solid shampoo, soap or other recipe.
