Rijksmunt '40 - Plexiglass - 60 x 90 cm

This print shows the building of the Rijksmunt in Utrecht. This building, directly behind the neoclassical facade, houses the La Monnaie workshops: the melting house for the metals, the crushing room and the mint room. Coins are still minted in the Rijksmunt building. Both euro coins on government order and various commemorative coins are minted.
