ZUIKAN VINTAGE Aged Junmai Sake 720ml

Koshu (aged) sake from the Zuikan range with a warm profile. The nose is intense and very representative of koshu sakes, there is an interesting dried mushroom side. The second nose opens with more delicacy, adding touches of roasted almond. The palate is fresh with a note of dark honey, light soy sauce and candied lemon zest. The tasting is quite aromatic with a slight umami appearing in the mid-palate. Warmed, it is dry with a beautiful umami and intense notes of dried flowers, light soy sauce and bitter cocoa. There is a nice acidity throughout the tasting and the finish is relatively persistent. Alcohol content: 16.5% Serve in a wine glass at room temperature (18°C), or in an ochoko, warm (40°C).
