The illustration on the front of this notebook represents a traditional Japanese breakfast consisting of many dishes (miso soup, fish, white rice, pickled vegetables, natto, and omelet). The expression おはようございます (ohayou gozaimasu) is how the Japanese say “hello” during the morning, equivalent to the English “good morning”. On the back you will find rice balls, the famous onigiri.
