A comfortable carryall for eco-savvy men, women and students, our Aster Backpack is crafted out of recycled material and ergonomically padded to ease the burden of a heavy load. 40 recycled bottles went into the making of this unisex backpack! A great choice for work, school or travel, the Aster backpack features a cushioned backing lined with breathable mesh, interior slip pockets and a padded laptop slot in addition to adjustable buckle straps and assorted zippered pockets for organization. Built to supply a secure non-slip fit, the expandable bottle pocket found on the side of the backpack has been outfitted with super stretch elastic. The main fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester, with the equivalent of 40 plastic bottles (0.5L). The thin thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) coating makes this bag water resistant. The recycled polyester is made using recycled materials from post-consumer waste. Compared to virgin polyester, this creates less CO2 emissions, reduces energy use and waste, as well as extending the life of the raw material.
