The main fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon, and the lining from recycled polyester, with the equivalent of 52 plastic bottles (0.5L). Recycled nylon is made using recycled materials from post-consumer waste. Compared to virgin nylon, this creates less CO2 emissions, reduces energy use and waste, as well as extends the life of the raw material.
