Afrodite is a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship. Elegant and luxurious, this bar globe is embellished with gold leaf finishes applied completely by hand by our master craftsmen. The imposing structure, made entirely of mahogany lacquered Toulipier wood, gives class and royalty to the most refined environments and to all those who love to surround themselves with precious and sophisticated objects. The top opens to reveal a bar compartment that comfortably accommodates up to 6/8 bottles and approximately 16 glasses, to offer your best spirits to all your friends. The sphere, whose map is a faithful reproduction of the 16th century, rotates entirely around its meridian in both the open and closed positions. Thanks to the retractable wheels, it can be easily moved to give elegance to any room in the house. The bar accessories shown in the photo (bottles and glasses) are not included. Application of 22 carat gold leaf The Afrodite bar globe is handmade by our expert craftsmen. The application of gold leaf is a job of extreme precision: it requires a lot of care, delicacy and attention in all processing steps. The first phase starts with the application, using a simple brush, of a glue emulsion on the wooden components such as the base, equatorial circle, columns and knob. This emulsion will allow the gold to be bonded. After cutting the 22 carat real gold leaf, proceed with applying it to the wood, always spreading it using a brush. The application can also require very long times between one phase and another and requires a dry environment without air changes. After being spread and smoothed, it is fixed to obtain the special warm gold finish, radiating light into your home or office.
