Zippered pouch with traditional embroidery for coins, cards, etc.v.m. The small, padded bag with zipper is the bigger sister of the Chichi key bag. It is also fair trade and practical. Thanks to the wide opening zipper, business and customer cards fit easily and visibly and can be found quickly. Coins and other treasures can also be stored here safely. Even a charging cable for the smartphone fits in, including the power plug, and protects it from tangling. Practical and really beautiful too! The handicraft of the Chichi bags The fronts of the bags are made from elaborately hand-embroidered, traditional costumes (“Huipil”) in Guatemala: These fabrics are first worn as clothing. As soon as they start to wear out, they are still used: the well-preserved regions of the valuable huipil fabrics are processed into larger or smaller bags or pouches, depending on their size, and are sewn into or onto new cotton fabrics. These money or stuff purses have a back made of robust denim or other woven fabrics, also handwoven in Guatemala. This always varies, as fabric scraps from larger productions are always used for this. Finally, an inner lining made of viscose is inserted and some foam is incorporated between the two layers of fabric to protect the contents of the bag. It has always been this way and is now called the zero waste principle. The colors In every village in Gutatemala you can find traditional costumes that are made from a variety of colors and patterns and are usually embroidered or woven. This ensures an incredible variety of patterns and colors in our warehouse too! Depending on the batch we import, there are many very colorful ones, other times there are many black, blue or red colors available. There are geometric designs and floral patterns, but the bags we photographed are just as rare to find a second copy! . The data of the Chichi bag size.
