This engraving is part of the “Silvestre” collection. It is a woodcut printed on a 21x 15 cm paper. Woodcut is a relief engraving technique. It is one of the first engraving techniques that appeared. This was born in China and consists of carving a wooden board using tools called gouges, to stamp the part of the surface that has been highlighted.
