ANCRAGE produces high quality bracelets with the coordinates of your favorite place. So your favorite place is no longer only worn in the heart, but also as a decorative accessory on the wrist.
Why ANCRAGE? ANCRAGE is French and means “anchorage” in German. The love for the maritime, for the sea on the one hand, but also the symbolic meaning of the word anchorage have inspired us to the name. Each of us needs an anchorage, a place where my heart is anchored. A place that I like to think of, that inspires me, that gives me warmth, strength and protection, that for me is a way of life. This place can be your own home, a city, an island, a mountain, a sight or a football stadium. Instead of words, we chose coordinates to give the bracelets something mysterious. "My unique statement".
True to our motto “Made in Dortmund”, we make our bracelets traditionally. In line with the manufacturing concept, the bangles are hand-stamped with an old screw press. Each piece is unique.
We are socially and charitable. The bracelets are packed in small cotton bags that are specially manufactured and printed for this purpose by the workshops of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in Dortmund.
We have been a proud member of www.onepercentfortheplanet.org since summer 2019 and donate 1% of ANCRAGE's turnover. The intention of 1% for the Planet is to finance various environmental organizations so that together they can represent a stronger unit for solving the problems of our world.
