A cushion that blends the inspirations of the Italian Riviera and Japan Between the azure blue of the Mediterranean and the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms, the Adour x Thevenon cushion is an invitation to travel, where two worlds rich in history and elegance intersect. This collaboration between Artiga, experts in French linen manufacturing, and Thevenon, a home furnishings fabric publisher since 1908, has resulted in a reversible cushion that plays on contrasts and inspirations: One side is made of Adour canvas, inspired by the luminous hues of the Italian Riviera, available in three timeless striped colors evoking the Mediterranean coastline and the sunny atmosphere of the South. A Japanese-inspired floral design, where the delicacy of the motifs pays homage to the finesse and balance of Japanese prints, between tradition and modernity. This cushion blends naturally into any interior, adding a touch of character and softness. Play with its two sides according to your desires: sometimes Mediterranean and vibrant, sometimes poetic and refined. Made from 100% organic cotton, it offers optimal comfort while guaranteeing high resistance. Made in our workshop in the Southwest, it embodies French textile know-how combining quality and sustainable commitment. Combine it with our other cushion sizes for a harmonious and subtle decoration, inspired by the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Certified 100% Origine France Garantie and labeled SUD Terre Textile, it reflects local and responsible manufacturing, respecting materials and traditions. With the Adour x Thevenon cushion, give your interior a double inspiration, between Mediterranean sun and Japanese poetry, for a decoration that invites travel and escape. For curtains, we recommend dry cleaning. To preserve the quality of the fibers, soak new fabrics for two hours in cold water without detergent. For curtains, we recommend dry cleaning. For the rest of your ARTIGA linens, home decor, table and kitchen items, we advise you to follow these instructions: During the first few washes, cotton or cotton/linen fabrics will shrink between 8 and 10% in length and between 3 and 5% in width, which is normal for this type of natural fiber weave, which has not undergone any treatment. Plan your measurements accordingly for your specific garments. For our tablecloths in collection, this shrinkage has already been anticipated; the tablecloths are designed to be the correct size after washing. To preserve the quality of natural fibers, soak new fabrics for two hours in cold water without detergent. Then, without waiting, do a wash at 30°C. You can directly start a 30° wash cycle with moderate spin. You can then wash the cotton or cotton/linen fabric up to 60°C, opting for detergents without bleaching agents to maintain the vibrant colours. Use fabric softeners sparingly as they reduce the absorbency of textiles (especially dish towels). In general, do not use a high spin cycle when washing our fabrics as this breaks the fibers and can mark the fabric; tumble drying is possible but not recommended. For coloured items, wash them 2 or 3 times separately to avoid color bleeding onto other items.
