With its large glass canopy and tall windows, this building is characteristic of the early 20th century. This type of architecture can be found everywhere in Europe, yet here an element is typical of Quimper: the dishes and the earthenware tiles made in the Quimper earthenware factories, rediscovered following the fire which ravaged the building in 1999.
