Apricot is a fruit rich in vitamins, above all carotenoids, vitamins A and C. The high presence of minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, sodium, iron, and calcium makes it valid support in cases of anemia, fatigue, and convalescence. Potassium helps in physical activity during the summer months. Apricot can be mildly laxative due to sorbitol; it is however rich in water and fiber, so a priori it is an aid for intestinal regularity.
