The man with the clock head

Who is Archibald Leonin? A very mysterious painter who painted the portrait of a man with the head of a clock. Pierre discovers this canvas at the back of his grandfather's attic. But no one wants to talk about it. Why is an identical painting in the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon? To solve these mysteries, Pierre and Victor will have to set a trap, embark on a mad chase through the city and discover the world of art and museums. An investigation carried out by two children whose observation and deduction skills will be up to this mystery. The themes of art, forgers and lost friendship give its originality to this story set in an unknown district of Lyon, but rich in history and interest. This book is also the result of the competition organized between 2009 and 2010 with the Quais du Polar festival. The winner, Pierre Lallement, saw his ideas serve as inspiration for the plot of this mystery and became in a way the hero of this work. Text: Jack Chaboud, Illustrations: Ludivine Stock, 56 pages.
