Corvid

This larger format multi-coloured stencil spray-painting is of a crow atop a fence. Crow’s have become a symbol of menace and death but this is a fairly recent link via often used trope in horror movies. Historically in many cultures they were seen to express transformation and change. They are watchful creatures that have a sharp and powerful intellect and foresight. Seen to bring prophecy, a second sight, and higher perspectives they are also prone to mischief. They are opportunistic and seek advantage through strength, ingenuity, group work and other’s demise. This limited edition run is completed on A2 300gsm bright white card, using fade resistant aerosol paints. They are all individually hand stencilled, embossed and come backed on cardboard and sealed in a cellophane slip.
