Gourmet salt, medium Mediterranean salt

This is a natural table salt with a grain size of 1-1.6 mm, which is won according to old tradition in the Mediterranean salt marshes on the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea. Well away from industry and big cities are the seawater salt pans, in which a sophisticated system of seawater is routed through the salt marshes, some of which are centuries old. The salt concentration increases due to wind and sun, the salt settles after it has crystallized on the salt flats and can then be harvested. It is then simply dried and screened according to grain size. With its mild, salty taste, it is suitable for many dishes.
