Meet ‘The Biggie’ - The New Big Plant Pot on the scene!
We are BigPlantPots founders, Alando and Sally. Partners in life and now in pots too!
After spotting a big plant pot on a Netflix series, filmed in the US, we set out on a journeyto find the big pot online, for our own garden. The search proved fruitless, and we found that there were many other people searching for big plant pots too, without success.
Realising there was a lack of supply but a high demand for big plant pots, we created the business, BigPlantPots. We first looked to China for a supplier but due to the astronomical shipping costs as a result of the pandemic, and difficulty communicating, with design ideas getting lost in translation, we decided to design and manufacture in the UK.
Six months later, our vision has come to life and we are now manufacturing ’The Biggie’, in 10 of the latest influential colours. We have turned a garden essential, the classic plant pot, into a colourful, contemporary and top quality design-piece for any indoor or outdoor space. We have got two in our garden now, with huge palm trees in them, so our initial mission has been accomplished.
Our pots are made to last. They are durable weatherproof, shatterproof, rust resistant, UV resistant, stackable for easy transportation and recyclable. We like to think big though and would really love to see ‘The Biggie’ in gardens, and cool spaces all over the world.
