Profile: Intense and unctuous. Aromas: Caramel, white-fleshed fruits, honey. Located in the village of Chichimes (San Pedro Necta) in Guatemala, the La Esperanza farm was founded in the 1970s by Octavio Rafael Herrera Ordóñez, already with the promotion of a coffee culture that respects ecosystems in mind, harmony with the fauna and flora. It is still managed today in this spirit and as a family business by three generations together. The 90 ha farm uses agricultural techniques inspired by permaculture.
