Description Petite navette Provençale: crispy egg-free biscuit with yeast, delicately flavored with orange blossom. Navettes are traditionally eaten on Candlemas (Candlemas – the feast of the presentation of Jesus in the temple for the purification of the Virgin). For the Provençals, they evoke the miraculous boat "La Nave" (the Nave) which is said to have brought Mary Magdalene, Mary Salome, Martha, and Lazarus back to our shores from the Holy Land.
