Sudanese Dinka Shield - Metal

The Dinka people are from a region of the upper white Nile in Southern Sudan. The shields are used for many ceremonial occasions but would have orriginally been used in battle during wars.  Makes for a beautiful sculpture. Due to the nature of handcraft items there will be slight imperfections on the surfaces.  Size:-  Approx 112cmH with stand or 100cm shield H x 42cmW
