Âbi' Blue Satin Venetian Slippers

I’m ‘Âbi’, which in Persian language means Blue. I’m a fruit of a collaboration between Indian silk weavers and the Italian shoe master Luigi. The fabric used on my skin is made by the hands of talented brocade weavers in the city of Banaras, the capital of silk weaving in India.  Luigi has then transformed this beautiful fabric to a traditional Venetian slippers called ‘Friulane’ or ‘Papusse’, which I am today.
