Blonde Special René 6° 75cl

A special traditional blond beer, brewed in Flanders Rich in this history, in this memory left by Motte-Cordonnier products, we wanted this new beer to be a blond, generous, refreshing and light (6°) in order to please as many people as possible and accompany all moments. of tasting. It is golden, slightly bitter thanks to a hint of aromatic hops. (For purists it has an IBU 25 bitterness and an EBC 7 color). Produced from raw materials from Hauts-de-France, it develops all its aromas. The name of this beer is a tribute to our ancestor René MOTTE (1875-1953), born in Armentières. In 1898 he took over the management of the family brewery that had always been located on rue d'Erquinghem (rue de Dunkerque today). In 1917, the brewery located behind the English lines was partially destroyed and no longer allowed production. Production is temporarily launched in Flanders (Meteren). The Germans will destroy what remains of the Armentières factory in 1918 before the evacuation. In 1922, René MOTTE had a new factory built along the Lys river, a ‘castle-factory’ so typical of our region. In tribute to his tenacity, his courage, his entrepreneurial genius and his passion for beer, we have named this blonde La 'René'. We can't wait for you to taste it and let us know your impressions.
