Organic pink grapefruit

Pink Grapefruits are less bitter citrus fruits than yellow grapefruit, as they have a higher sugar content, a higher concentration of anthocyanins and carotenes and the same richness of vitamins and antioxidants.

 They have a fairly thin skin and their pulp has a color between pink and red.   We harvest the Organic Sicilian Pink Grapefruits at the time of shipment, when they have reached the right point of ripeness on the tree, that is, when at least half of the peel has started to turn yellow or pink.

 Organic Sicilian Pink Grapefruits will arrive at your home immediately after being harvested from the tree, carried out manually with care and attention.

 Storage tips: the first thing to do is remove the grapefruits from the packaging used for transport; it is necessary to place them in a ventilated container, avoiding crowding and crushing them.   Store the grapefruits in the fridge or, if you prefer to keep them out of the fridge, make sure it is a cool, airy place, away from heat sources and with a low humidity level.   In this way grapefruits, like all citrus fruits, will last a long time, even 1 month, preserving their taste and nutritional properties.
