We are a small candle manufacturer from Eich, Rheinhessen, and make candles from old wine bottles, soy wax and natural essential oils. In 2018 I was looking for unusual Christmas presents for family and work colleagues and somehow couldn't find anything. I wanted something extraordinary. And that's when I came up with the idea of the candles. It was perfect, since we live in a wine region and wine simply belongs to Rheinhessen, it fitted like a glove. The special thing about Candelae is the product as a whole. Because candles are a dime a dozen. I think it's the interplay of the wine bottle and the ingredients. We attach great importance to the natural. We use soy wax and natural essential oils for our scented candles. Even with the candle wick, we make sure that it does not contain lead and we also make the candle glasses ourselves from old wine bottles.
