Ceryan Raissa Molema (1987) is a freelance illustrator and draftsman. In her work she is inspired by the animal kingdom, nature, fairy tales and mysticism. With precision and an eye for detail she creates creatures that are both cheerful and endearing and sometimes alienating.
After her education in Cultural Social Education, she follows the path closest to her heart: making drawings, illustrations and paintings. She has since made birth cards and postcards, her work has been exhibited several times and her creations hang at various locations in Utrecht.
In addition to her own free work, she also likes to work on assignments with a story. This gives her the opportunity to add an extra layer to her work and to mix personal wishes with her fantasy.
Ceryan has a studio at home and lives with her cat Charlie in Utrecht
