The Seventh Sense Gin 40% - 0.5l

"How do you create a gin with an extraordinary character? This was the most important question for distiller Barney Wilczak. He didn't like the idea of creating a gin in a classic style. A spirit made from British wheat was chosen as the basis. Very soft and neutral to give the botanicals space to develop. For a distiller who had previously focused on fully isolating each fruit, developing a gin recipe was like working with a vast array of colors and shades. After many tests, a total of 34 botanicals were selected from a huge repertoire ranging from earthy notes to sweet, sour, spicy and very floral notes. The recipe is closely guarded, but is revealed to contain things like fresh Sicilian blood orange peel, flowers of the UK's native small-leaved linden tree, tillia cordata (an aroma of intertwined flowers and honey). Due to the very complex manufacturing process, only about 200 bottles per batch are usually produced. It is reduced to drinking strength with local water and is deliberately not filtered in order to preserve the essential oils, which lead to a clearly visible cloudiness when cooled or diluted. For the distiller, taste is clearly more important than clean looks. A luxurious and complex gin to be enjoyed neat or in cocktails. "
