AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER, DELIVERY IN JANUARY The origin of Humagne Rouge remains uncertain to this day. It can be found in the Aosta Valley and in Valais it has existed for about a hundred years. It has no genetic relationship with the White Humange. This late-ripening grape variety requires the best exposures on the Valais hillside. Planted on our Ardévaz estate, near Leytron, the red Humagne has thus found an exceptional terroir to fully express its power and virility. Tasting notes Intense red color with brown highlights. On the nose, it gives off spicy notes reminiscent of bay leaf, skillfully blended with scents of tobacco and tea. A frank and lively attack, perfectly integrated tannins give this wine a solid structure. An excellent red wine for aging.​ ​ Food pairings It pairs wonderfully with game, flavorful meats such as grilled beef and lamb. Pairs wonderfully with platters of strong and very distinctive cheeses.​ ​ Gold Medal Awarded vintage: 2022; delivered subject to availability. The medal is not automatically present on the bottle.
