Linocut poster - Naked longboarder bend

Linocut is a printmaking technique on natural linoleum (burlap coated with linseed oil and wood powder or cork). It consists of engraving a linoleum plate by hand, using gouges. The gouges are kinds of V-shaped or U-shaped cutters, which allow you to dig the linoleum. The parts that will not be hollowed out will be the inked parts of the final illustration. Once the engraving is complete, the linoleum plate is called "a matrix" and it is printable multiple times, by hand. Each linocut was therefore drawn, engraved and printed by me. This 100% artisanal printing technique makes each illustration unique. They all differ depending on the amount of ink applied, giving them that authentic grain.
