Greek Single Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Introducing small-batch extra virgin olive oil from the wine region of Crete, produced and packaged sustainably. Introducing our fresh new harvest EVOO from November 2022. Here we harvest lianolia olives early in the season while they're still green on the trees to get a higher-quality oil with more nutrients and a more pronounced flavour. This latest harvest has aromas of fresh-cut grass and tomato leaf. On the palate, there’s a slightly peppery finish that's a sign it's packed with polyphenols (the antioxidant good stuff!). The olives are taken to the mill within 24 hours of harvest and processed without any heat or chemicals to maintain the fresh juice of the olives. This oil is the first cold extraction, as should be the case with any extra virgin olive oil made in the EU. This extra virgin olive oil comes from Maria Amargiotaki's groves where she and her husband Dimitri practice regenerative agriculture.
