Mastiha Spirit

An expertly-crafted Mastiha from Axia, made with resin from the Mastic trees which solely grows on the Greek island of Chios. The dried resin crystals are harvested and cleaned by hand, then double distilled before being bottled at 40% ABV without any sweetening. This leaves an authentic flavour profile with vibrant citrus and vegetal notes. I use Axia Mastiha in my Fireside Blueberry Cosmo. The spirit offers citrus, floral and aromatic notes which offer up some unique flavour profiles for this drink.
