The Precision+ salt mills are equipped with a ceramic mechanism, a material resistant to salt corrosion, while the Precision + pepper mills are equipped with a carbon steel mechanism. The new mechanism was designed and developed over the course of 2 years in collaboration with the Aroma Laboratory of the University of Nottingham. The grinders with the new Precision+ mechanism offer a new level of performance: in fact, with each rotation it has been scientifically proven that they manage to grind more product, revealing a more intense flavour. With mixed material grinders you get the best of both worlds. This grinder combines crystal clear acrylic with stainless steel finishes, to create a contemporary style that will fit comfortably into any modern or classic setting.
