The coffee that we invite you to discover was harvested and produced in Raro Nansebo, located in Uraga, Guji, in the Kebele (village) of Raro Nansebo. The word Laayyoo refers to the native tree growing in this region, used for shade in coffee plantations. Its deep roots allow falling leaves to provide nutrient-dense, rich compost, also acting as fertilizer for coffee. Each cherry is harvested meticulously by hand before being transported the same day to the “washing station” where the grain is sorted, washed and dried. This process is a guarantee of high quality, in fact, the cherries do not "ferment" in the bags, they are immediately sorted and dried in the sun to guarantee the quality of the grain afterwards.
