Voltage relay VP-16Аf for photovoltaics

The voltage relay VP-16Af is designed to protect electrical devices and household appliances against too high mains voltage. The DigiTOP VP-16Af voltage relay operates in the maximum voltage relay mode and protects electrical devices against too high mains voltage (it can be used to connect an additional receiver in a photovoltaic installation). The device monitors the upper voltage limit. If this voltage is exceeded, the load is switched off (or an additional power take-off load may be connected). The load is automatically switched on (off) as soon as the voltage drops to the upper voltage limit minus the voltage drop (hysteresis) after the set response time. i.e. if the upper limit is set to 253 V and the hysteresis is 10 V, the load will be turned off when it exceeds 253 V, and if it drops to 243 V, the load will be turned on after the set reaction time (from 0 to 10 seconds). Reducing the voltage at a photovoltaic installation is important for safety and efficiency reasons. Too high voltage can cause overvoltages and damage to the installation and the devices connected to it. Overvoltages can occur when there is a sudden increase in power or a drop in resistance in a circuit. Excessive voltage can also increase the risk of electric shock. It is important to adjust the voltage of the photovoltaic installation to the requirements of the devices and networks to which it will be connected. Programmable settings: – Upper cut-out limit, 1V step – 210-270V – Voltage hysteresis (voltage drop from the upper limit), step 1V - 1-10V – On response time, step 1 sec – 0-10 sec All preset values are stored in non-volatile memory. Made in Ukraine.
