Fanny Fougerat - Pineau Blanc des Charentes - The Charming Hummingbird

Fanny Fougerat offers us a Pineau Blanc, ideal for spring and summer; it is intended to be fresh and tangy enough to rekindle desire for this category of product, often unfairly perceived as too rich.   Ugni Blanc grape variety, Fins Bois appellation. 
The harvests were made in 2017. 
It was aged in French Limousin oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months in wood. 
The must is mutated with Cognac at 71%.
 Tasting notes Color: Light young color. 
Golden reflections. 
Natural tone.   Nose: Intense, fresh and elegant. 
Fresh fruit, apricot, prune notes, acacia honey, quince.   Taste: Light, tangy; balanced and beautiful liveliness. 
Lemony notes, acacia honey dried apricot. 
Good content and good balance of acidity and sweetness. 70cl - 17%
