Discover our vintage “les brigands”!     This vintage is made from a blend of 3 grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault.                                        Aging for 12 months in oak barrels.                                        2019 vintage.  Plan de Dieu appellation (Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu).     This vintage is to be offered to lovers of great southern wines.  Terroir: The few woods that remain on PLAN DE DIEU are scattered across this vineyard which extends over soil composed of red clay and a multitude of large rolled pebbles, buried up to ten meters deep.                                        Due to this imposing layer of pebbles, the land is not very productive.                                        This terroir is solely dedicated to the production of red wines.  Name of the vintage: LES BRIGANDS In the Middle Ages the Plan of God was a vast scrubland forest invaded by bandits.                                        So much so that before crossing it one handed over one's soul to God... It is to this legend that the land of Plan de Dieu probably owes its name.                                        Our vintage “Les Brigands” refers to this legend.     Tasting: Deep purple color, garnet reflections.                                        Elegant, fine nose, aromas of cherry, jammy fruit, notes of cinnamon, vanilla.                                        Full mouthfeel, notes of jammy fruit, notes of black pepper, notes of licorice, notes of vanilla, elegant tannins.                                        Elegant woodiness, melted tannins.
