Production Region: Piedmont, province of Cuneo Denomination: Barolo D.O.C.G. Year: 2019 Bright ruby red color with orange reflections that intensify with time. Intense fragrance of red fruits, violets, hazelnuts and withered leaves, but also leather, anise, nutmeg and licorice. Full-bodied, smooth and velvety taste with a finish of spices and hints of vanilla. Wine of great quality and elegance. To be combined with dishes based on truffles, risottos and braised meats or aged cheeses. Also ideal for Chinese meat cuisine, such as sweet and sour pork, almond chicken or roast duck. Great red for meditation, Barolo must be uncorked and decanted at least one hour before consuming it. Serve at 16/18 degrees.
