Collection in tribute to FitzRoy James Henri Somerset (1788 - 1855), 1st Baron Raglan. He was a soldier and then a British diplomat. After having fought alongside Wellington in Spain and at Waterloo (1812-01815), he commanded the British troops in the Crimea and took a glorious part in the battle of Alma, the siege of Sebastopol and the battle of Inkerman.
