There's no need to throw your long-handled dish brush away when the head is dead! Simply remove the head by pulling down the small, metal retaining ring and open the arms to slot in the new head. You can throw the dead head in the compost and it will biodegrade with your natural waste. ECO-FRIENDLY:  As with all our products, the replacement heads are made from natural, non-plastic materials, which will biodegrade rather than lasting years in landfill. BAMBOO / SISAL: As one of the fastest growing sustainable plants, we use bamboo as an alternative to wood. No nasty pesticides are required to harvest the plant, which means it doesn’t harm the environment. The bristles are made from sisal rather than plastic, which would take hundreds of years to biodegrade. MANUFACTURE: We engrave the brushes here in the UK. The brushes are manufactured in China, where bamboo predominantly grows. We work with a reputable manufacturer who produces the brushes from 100% FSC sustainable bamboo. We only ship to the UK using sea freight, not air, in order to reduce our carbon omissions. CARE: Caring for your dish brush will lengthen its life and save you money. To protect your brushes, remember to clean and dry them out and don’t submerge the bamboo in water for any length of time or place them in the dishwasher.
