Postcard Format 14x14 cm of Lyon Cloitre of the Hôtel Dieu.  Watercolor by Michel PELLETIER On 380 gr/m2 paper Ecological 100% PEFC “I very often paint in my studio from the sketches and photos that I collect during my travels.  I memorize colors.  I prefer this method to painting on the pattern.  This allows me to use my imagination on the colors that my memory gives me.  My brain filters the colors that I apply and transmit to the viewer.  By working on the pattern we risk copying verbatim what we see.  There is less “Feeling”.
