Shea butter has multiple uses (food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, lighting, etc.). In addition to its richness in unsaturated fatty acids, it is also composed of phytosterols, vitamins and especially unsaponifiables (around 5%). Anti-irritant, stimulating the upper layers of the epidermis, shea butter has excellent protective value. It melts at a temperature close to 30°C.
