Organic nutmeg is used grated for its lovely color and subtle flavor. Ideal for flavoring potato-based dishes, it is used in many spice blends and its use is very varied in cooking, whether salty or sweet. Its taste is quite strong, although it does not sting, you can grate it anywhere but most often a pinch will suffice. You can use it to flavor meats, soups, béchamels, gratins, season purees, vegetables and even certain cocktails.
