Bird's-eye view map.  Top left the coat of arms of Holland, bottom left a legend 1-37.  Top right the coat of arms of Delft.  Dutch text on verso.  This print was used in: Blaeu, Johannes Willemszoon.  Scene of the cities of the United Netherlands.  In the 17th century, Delft experienced a new heyday.  A Chamber of the VOC was founded in Delft.  Three times a year the people of Delft sent a fleet to the east, importing spices, Chinese porcelain and other luxury goods.  The tradition of Delft blue pottery, with an extensive pottery industry, arose from the import of Chinese porcelain.  We also sell matching frames in different colors.     Different size or paper?
