Poster Rembrandt - The Jewish Bride

This painting was painted by Rembrandt van Rijn around the year 1665. To avoid being murdered and his wife being taken by King Abimelech, Isaac concealed his love for Rebekah; they pretended to be brother and sister. But their intimate association, when they thought they were unseen, betrayed them. Rembrandt paints them in a loving moment. He works exceptionally freely, applies the paint thickly and scratches it with the back of his brush. We also sell matching frames in different colors. Different format or paper?
